اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

January is almost over. In the beginning of 2015 I promised myself to update my blog everyday by sharing super serious blog topic until the miscellaneous one. But I just made 9 blog post so far. Hehe.  Yes I am busy but actually I believe I can post more than that. I used to spend 2-3 hours or even more on a blog post so far. Maybe I can make a super simple and quick blog post when I am too busy or too tired to make a complete blog post. I also need to make a clear blog resolutions for 2015 and create guidelines to objectify my resolutions. May this year be a great blogging year. Here they are:

# Post more, share more, collaborate more.
# Simplify my blog design
# Getting new friends from blog
# Reducing .blogspot.com into .com
# Conduct blog giveaway

# Update blog everyday starting the first February 2015
# Sharing about different topic everyday // Monday - Outfit Of the Day // Tuesday: Inspiration (People, Product Review,  Fashion Trend, Art, Photography, Quotes) // Wednesday: Soundtrack of the day (Cool music that I found) // Thursday: Outfit of the day // Friday: Tuesday: Inspiration (People, Product Review, Fashion Trend, Art, Photography, Quotes) // Saturday: To Do This Weekend Inspiration (Any ideas, tutorial, or DIY tips for weekend) // Sunday: Myself ( What I think, my work/portfolio, my doodles, reflection of the week, my real life stories, etc).
# Find new simple header and perfect font for my blog.
# Blog walking again. Been so long did not doing blog walking. I'm blessed that I have some blogger fellas whose still visiting my blog and leave sweet comments.
# Meet up with my blogger fellas in real life.
# Collaboration project with more people, media, and brands.
# Having at least two giveaway until the end of the year.
# Just do it.

I've been blogging from 2009, almost 6 years, OMG. Can't believe I'm still loving it even though there is some ups and downs. For me blogging is more than an online diary, it's like a portfolio for me. Some people found me, Yulia Rahmawati, through this blog. I'm not going to fake my life here, all I want is just sharing what happen in my life as real as I can so that I can remember and scrolling them from 2009 until then.

When other people love my blog, that is definitely an honour and super huge bonus for me. Thank you for all my silent readers and blogger fellas and spammer as well. I'm reading all your comment, Guys. I feel so grateful and happy when I got emails from anywhere saying that they like my blog, or when my friends in real life told me that they actually read my blog, or when my blogger fellas simply keep coming back to my blog even though I'm not visiting back their home yet. Oh I'm burst into the tears of happiness and gratefulness. Thank you all so mucho. Also sorry for all the review/tutorial/request you ask that still not posted yet. Especially for any hijab tutorial request, so many tutorial request so little time to do a hijab tutorial. Maybe I am the only hijab blogger who never post a hijab tutorial on her blog, eh? Hehe. Anyway, thank you, thank you oh so much for all of you, Guys. I'll do my best this year. Wish me luck, wish us luck. #ILoveYou #BearHug.

Sometimes I wonder,
"Can we just live by meeting our favourite persons everyday?"
How happy that could be?
Killin' time surrounding by our favorite persons everyday
Seeing them / talking with them / taking care of them
listening to their stories/ cooking their favourite foods
cuddling / hugging / kissing / giggling / tickling
simply make us feels alive.
Oh yes, We might fight them
We might hate them sometimes
We might dislike their behavior
they are our favorite persons
We like them
We love them
We care about them
just the way they are
there might be some frictions about anything
(we are human, we are different)
they are our favourite persons.
We like them
We love them
We care about them
just the way they are.

I wonder,
"Can everyone become our favourite persons everyday?"
It's just about our point of view, isn't?

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Two weeks ago I made a post about routine facial treatment products. There I exposed each products that I use to take care my skin face, my facial wash product, face moisturizer products, and eye skin treatment products. That post is not complete yet since girls have lotsa face treatment products to take care their face, their asset to face the the world. So, here is the the part two of To Do This Weekend: Face Treatment post. Keep scrolling, Lovelies ;)

You can read the first part of To Do This Weekend: Face Treatment (Part 1) here.

// Face Paper and Make Up Remover

1. Clean & Clear Oil Control Film, the name of the product itself already explain the function of this product. I need this product when I have lotsa activities in a day. I don't use this everyday because my face does not produce excess oil everyday. I need my oil control film only under some circumstances, such as when I need to retouch make up at night or when I have heavy outdoors activities.

2. Maybelline New York Make Up Remover, this product is efficient and easy to instantly removes all eye and lip make up, even waterproof make up. But I have a plan to leave this product because I heard organic coconut oil is good to remove any make up product. Sorry my Maybelline New York Make Up Remover, you are a good product but lately I'm looking for natural or natural ingredient products to take care of my skin face. Since it is so hard to find organic coconut oil in my country, I'm still using this make up remover until now. Hehe.

3. The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes, this product is my favorite to instantly removes my make up when I am toooooo tired to do all face cleansing ritual. It is a tissue so all I need is just grab one tissue prom the packaging then wipe the tissue all over my face. This product cleanse, tone and moisturize in one wipes. How can I not love this product.

// Face Toner

1. Nivea Visage Aqua Effect Refreshing Toner, I apply this product after washing my face. It gives refreshing sensation in our skin also moisturize the skin with Vitamin E ingredient in it.

2. La Rambla Apple Cider Vinegar, my favourite natural and yummy face toner. Apple Vinegar is good to balance the ph in our skin. Because the smell of apple vinegar is not really so I just apply this think when I am on holiday, that is why this is one of my favourite face treatment product a weekend. Mix apple cider vinegar with water and apply it as face toner. Besides moisturize the skin, balancing skin ph, it is also perfect to fight acnes. In addition you can also apply cider vinegar for hair, body, mask, cooking, scar, etc. Going to share about another function of apple cider vinegar at another blog post.

// Face Treatment

1. The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask, I apply this face mask every weekend to cools and lifts away impurities. Easy to apply and it is not going to dry on your skin. This face mask does not stop me from singing, talking, giggling, eating, laughing, etc after I apply it on to my skin face.

2. Honey, I think I don't need to explain how magical this thing is. I apply it as face mask and lip balm. I can also mix it with another natural mask such as egg, yogurt, fruits, etc when I am in the mood to blend all those natural ingredient, when I am not I just simply rub the honey gently on my skin face around 15 minutes after that I washed my face and apply my The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask (see Face Treatment point 1).

3. Biore Cleansing Strips Pore Pack, after I apply point 1 and 2, I simply put this products to removes blackheads from my nose. My favorite is the one in black packaging, while another packaging from Biore pore pack does not strong enough to removes blackheads from my nose.

4. Acnes Sealing Jell, this is my weapon to fight a naughty pimples on my face. Just put it at night and it works in the morning. The pimples is dry and shrink.

5. Oriflame Pure Nature Purifying Blemish Solver, to removes blemish on face. It is also good to drain small pimples. Unfortunately it is so hard to find this product now since I don't have any friends selling Oriflame products anymore.

6. Garnier Multi-Action Whitening Peel-Off Mask. I use this face mask after a heavy days outside or when I feel my skin face is really dirty. I apply it every 2 weeks or just once in a month. This mask is good to removes dead skin and impurities that darken our skin face.

7. Carapelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I use this per two weeks to moisture my face because olive oil is a heavy oil so I did not apply it too often onto my skin face. I use this to scrub my face, lips, and my body after i mix it with sugar or tea or coffee or salt. I also apply it as lip balm, hair mask, and for cooking of course.

So, that is all about my To Do This Weekend: Face Treatment (Part 2) blog post. I will definetely share another face treatment product when I found another good products for skin face. Stay tuned, Lovelies :)

PS: Feel free to share about your favourite products and also feel free to ask if you have questions.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

What @Ladyulia wore on her hijab style post - Girl in A Blue Coat:
// SAY Hijab Black Plain Scarf // Norma Kamali Dress worn as blue coat // Unbranded white tee // Marie Claire black Jeans // PX Style White Sneakers / /

Well, it is a super long dress actually. It has full buttons so I open all the buttons and worn the dress as a along coat. So happy that the current weather at Jakarta really supports me to wear any kind of outer. Then I had an idea to worn my long dress as a long coat to keep me warm when it turned into a windy and gloomy weather. I love the pattern of my coat, it has plaids patterns on it. This blue plaids coat is just perfect because this coat is like a statement pieces for me. I can wear very basic and simple t-shirt and black jeans inside and then throw my blue plaids coat to complete my boring look into a perfectly boring look. Unfortunately I cannot wear a long coat in a heavy rainy day unless I want to wet the bottom of my coat. Oh how I wish I could wear it everyday so that people will recognize me as a girl in a blue coat.

PS: Anyway, I think each time I upload pictures to my blog post, the color of my pictures become darker. For example my white background at the pictures turn grey and something like that. And the tone color of original pictures at this blog post is brighter than what I see now on the screen. Anybody feels the same, or is it just me?

Say nothing but SAY Hijab :)

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Lately, I've been searching for a perfect sleeveless blazer and so glad that I found this neoprene sleeveless blazer at Plaza Semanggi, unfortunately I forgot the name of that Taiwanese store. What makes me fall in love with this sleeveless blazer is it is made from neoprene material. Neoprene is a soft, durable, and flexible synthetic rubber. But mine already mixed with nylon and polyster to make it wearable and washable. I heart the silhouette created by neoprene materials when it become a clothes. Neoprene material creates a natural volume and boxy silhouette.

That is why I felt so happy when I found this sleeveless blazer hung on the store. Besides, it means I already found one of my 2015 wardrobe wish list. (Read about my 2015 shopping guidelines and fashion wish list here). Since I bought my black neoprene sleeveless blazer, so I just have 11 more chances to buy any kind of clothes. I wish I could really discipline to run my wish list and definitely will share about my product purchases here in my blog.

Anyway, can't wait to wear my black neoprene sleeveless blazer to go outside :)

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Talking about skin face treatment, I prefer to take care of my skin face, doing some home made face treatment and using natural ingredients cosmetics rather than just covering and hiding it from it's problem from outside. Why choose to look so pretty outside while actually we got so many skin face problem behind the make up.

This time I'm going to share about some home made face treatment and what I am wearing everyday to take care of my skin face. Facial wash, face mask, moisturizer, anti ageing serum, eye cream, everything, you name it :)

Naturally I love love eating any kind of fruits and vegetables and beans and fish and another good food that give healthy impact to myself. Unfortunately I don't like drinking water, I know that is not good and until now I'm still pushing myself to drink 8 glass per day. For more I am not smoking and actually I hate being passive smoker.

Besides treating my skin face from the inside I also treats it from the outside. I wore some skin care products for face. I'm trying to use products with natural ingredients to take care of my face. Here they are:

// Facial Wash

I'm wearing Nivea Sparkling White Facial Foam for my everyday face wash day and night. My skin face feels so clean after washing my face with it, it is not drying my skin face, does not caused pimples, I felt moistures. I've tried many facial wash brands since junior high school, some brands drying my skin face, some others caused pimples and some others leaving unclean feeling each time I finish washing my face. But Nivea Sparkling White Facial Foam is just perfect for my skin. Eventhough actually I prefer the smell of this product before it change it's packaging and enhance the formula.

I ever got so many pimples on face because I wore expired face mask that I didn't realize. I thought I should do something to make all the pimples go away from my face. So I changed my facial foam to Acnes Facial Foam because I heard that Acnes brand is good for acne care, I already tried them for two months but nothing happen to my face. All those pimples stayed there mocked at me. I decided to go back to Nivea Sparkling White Facial Foam and magically those pimple gone away from my face just like in a week. Since that I fall in love more and more to this facial foam.

// Face Moisturizer

1. The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist, to protects, moistures, and refresh my face. I wore it at the very beginning of my daily make up ritual or as the finish touch to complete my daily make up routine.

2. The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops Of Youth, a pre-serum to revitalise my skin from ageing process and enhance surface skin renewal. Usually I apply it in the morning and before going to bed at night sometimes. Read my complete review about this product click here.

3. POND'S Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum, face serum to stay young forever. Really love the real gold micro particles in it. I apply it in the morning after my pre-serum.

4. Wardah Sunscreen Gel SPF 30. I wore it only when I need to do so many outdoor activities to protect my face from the naughty sun radiance.

5. The Body Shop All-In-One Instablur. My secret agent to instantly look perfect in every special moment and to control my make up from day to night. Who needs Camera 360 filter? I definitely uninstalled that photo application after I found this magical product. Oh, in case you are wondering the tale about Instablur, you can check my complete review about it click here.

6. The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet. This product is my muse for daily moisturizer every morning. It is light and absorbs quickly to my skin face. I apply this after all those pre-serum and serum. Always feels like my skin eating it's yummy dessert each time I apply this Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet. And after this my skin is ready for make up time. (Surely going to review about this product and also going to make a blog post about my daily make up routine. Stay tuned :* )

// Eye Skin Treatment

1. The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso 2-in-1 Whitening Eye Cream. This eye cream brighthens eye area and reduce the appearance of fatigue signs. I apply it in the at night after I put it in the refrigerator a whole day to get fresh and cold feeling to my eye skin. Heaven touch for a tired feeling after all my activities everyday. I also reviewed about Shiso 2-in-1 Whitening Eye Cream click here.

2. Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel. Actually this product has a lotsaaa functions. We can apply it to face, our hair, body, nails, eye skin, burned skin, etc. One of my favourite things to do with this gel is to put it as soothing gel to my eyes every weekend. Just simply put the gel on make up cotton and then put it onto my face. Heaven knows the feeling of the soothing sensation of this aloe vera gel! (Wait my review about this product).

// Another Face Treatment

That is all for this time, I don't want this blog post become a super looooong blog post about face tratment. So, Wait for the second part of my face treatment blog post the next weekend, Peeps. I am going to share about face toner, face mask, comedos removal, make up removal, and acne care. Stay tuned ;)

PS: Feel free to share about your favourite products and also feel free to ask if you have questions. By the way, now you can read the part 2 of this blog post here.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

I'm sorry momma, I never meant to hurt you.
But tonight I'm cleaning out my closet
- Slim Shady

Weekend, yeaaay!

Having some things to do today, doing laundry, medical check up, visiting my cousin at the hospital, put some clothes at my favourite tailor to get some reparation, go to traditional market for fresh flowers and some fruits and daily needs and tonight I'm cleaning out my closet. What is your planning for weekend, Guys?

Day by day I realize that I should reduce amount of clothes that I bought per year. The most pressing reason is because my closet is full and maybe a little screaming right now, I made them gained much weight at 2014 and I must say it is overweight right now. Thank God 29 pieces of them already sold out at the end of last year since I'm selling my preloved stuffs here --> CLICK CLICK (some stuffs are still available and more stuffs updated this Sunday).

Reducing my wardrobe is one of my obsession this year and I already told you at my previous blog post that I fall in love with any perfectly boring clothes. I finally know that I heart "easy breezy like Sunday morning" wardrobe pieces to wear everyday. My ugly pretty effortless style. And I thought I already have enough of "dangerously normal" pieces of clothes and shoe and bags and accessories and miscellaneous fashion things in my closet to look perfectly boring this year. Be ready, fellas :)

Stop buying clothes means stop exercising and that is not good for my healthiness mentally and physically. So I wanna make some list, my reminder, about what I should do and should not doing related to my favourite exercise to burn calories (read: shopping). Alright here we go!

# 12 pieces of clothes only (top, outerwear, bottoms, you name it) / 365 days
# 3 pairs of shoe
# 2 bags, I'm not really into bags since actually I feel more than enough wearing my tote bags everyday.
# 5 accessories, statement accessories is more acceptable in this point
# 12 underwear, which i don't need to mention the detail.
# 3 hijab accessories, just for the most essential one like "under hijab"
# 1 bedcover (I count this here since I put bedcovers inside my closet)
# 1 praying clothes

1. Long patterned coat // 2. Sleeveless blazer (black/white/brown/pastel) // 3. Cropped top (red + black + navy + pastel) // 4. Full buttons long dress (black/navy) // 5. Navy pants // 6. Black maxi dress // 7. Fur vest (black/brown/grey) // 8. Black Mom Jeans // 9. Combination sweater// 10. White culotte pants

Shoe, Bags, Accessories, and others:
1. Maroon flats// 2. Statement sneakers// 3. Baby pink bag// 4. Leather lunch bag// 5. Wide brimmed hat (black + maroon)// 6. Sunglasses// 7. Egyptian statement necklace// 8. Under hijab in black + nude + soft pink colors// 9. Praying clothes// 10. Polkadot white bedcover.

# Keep on shopping guidelines and think again do I really need it or not and think whether the clothes that you are going to buy suits your style.
# Forget that white Calvin Klein cropped boxy top. Find alternatives, find local clothing, unless you are going to buy bags and shoes.
# Selling preloved stuffs here and donate some money from it for charity.
# Think about Raja Ampat, Alaska, Japan, and demilitarization zone at North Korea to visit rather than thinking about visiting mall to spend weekend.
# Praying that some brands, family and friends will give everything in my wishlist for free :p (Oh, is it really an option, Yulia?)

PS: I made this blog post for myself, for Yulia Rahmawati, to keep me on the track. If only I am going mad for shopping then you found I bought more than 12 pieces clothes this year please reminds me dearest readers. And who knows this post also make you think again about your wardrobe and shopping hobbies. Good luck for us ;)
