RAMADAN KAREEM

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

// SAY Hijab milo scarf // Unbranded shirt // SAY Hijab black maxi skirt // Stratto pointy flat shoes via Berrybenka.com // El Campero vintage leather bag //

For all Muslims in the world I would like to say Ramadan kareem. Wishing you all the blessings of the holy month. I hope the spirit of Ramadan stay in our hearts and illuminate our soul from within. Happy Ramadan.

So, how is your Ramadan going so far? I myself felt so happy because I still have time to greet this holy month again this year. I made some religious things to do this Ramadan such and I work hard to reach my goals. InshaaAllah.

The night before the first Ramadan I went home by an old bus, I did not use Trans Jakarta Bus because I want to reach home as fast as possible. I thought people will yelled each other at the bus just like what I always see on a super crowded Trans Jakarta bus. That night the old bus was very full and there was no air conditioner, seemed like everyone didn't care anymore if they have to stand right on the open door of the bus or has to sweat to the max as long as they can reach home soon. Women with babies, woman with talkative baby, woman with crying baby, man with boxes, all types of Jakartans was there I think. But none of them yelling each other for zero space that they got. People laughed at how funny the bus conductor struggled to make himself visible to the passenger because he has a petite body. People laughed at the traffic, people laughed when they are struggling to fit in the bus. Even they tried to make a conducive situation for the crying baby, they made a little space in those almost zero space bus so the baby could breath. I saw and felt a happy atmosphere on that old bus. It was an unusual view for me compare to the view at Trans Jakarta bus.

I thought it was because Trans Jakarta passenger knows that they deserved a good service so they are searching for it. Some people forget about the others, all they know is that they deserves a sit on an empty chair no matter what, they deserves a comfortable bus (cool air conditioner, no crying baby), they deserves a fast bus. So they'll start mumbling when the bus is hot, the bus is too full, the bus stuck in the traffic, even they hate crying baby.

While on the old bus, people know that they are all the same. So many old woman and woman carrying baby standing on the bus. But they all know that they are not special, they got the same right with the other passengers. They know that their bus was old and not really good but the only thing in their mind was arriving at home as soon as possible.

I don't blame Trans Jakarta passenger for demanding their rights, but sometimes we have to learn from the old woman, women with crying baby, and man with boxes on the old bus. Learn to laugh on imperfections. Shit happens, you know. Embrace it then it will make you stronger, come on have a big heart. Be less emotional, a man is as big as their heart. I hope during Ramadan, we especially Muslims could learn and practice more about patience and having a big heart and peace in mind to make this world a better place. Amin. Once again, Ramadan Kareem :)

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

// SAY Hijab black scarf // Unbranded white polkadots short sleeve shirt, cardigan, caramel pants, black leather backpack // Noche Black flat shoes from my Mom  // Sophie Paris watch //

Hello there, tell me one of your favorite daily outfit formula because here I'm going to share mine :)

One of my daily outfit formula: loose cardigan + short sleeve top + high waist jeans + simple hijab style + backpack. Sometimes I also add necklace to the look to give well prepared outfit impression. The black flat shoes is going to be my favorite shoe since my Mom bough it for me. Really likes the ballerina designs and the bow accent on my shoe. Thank you, Mum. I love you :*

My 30 days challenge going well so far. It really helped me not to buy anything new except foods and bus tickets. I feel confuse about paying house rent, is it count as I buy something new? I hope you guys agree with me that paying rent does not count as I'm spending my money to buy something new. Read about my 30 days challenge here

WATCHING PITCH PERFECT 2 MOVIE PREMIERE WITH CLOZETTE INDONESIA

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

A duo performance at the opening of Pitch Perfect 2 Movie premiere

What a coincidence, I bumped into my friend Wini and her super kind hearted sister at the cinema.

What I wore to Pitch Perfect 2 movie premiere with Clozette Indonesia:
// SAY Hijab black plain scarf // Unbranded stripes t-shirt, outer, and bag //
// Uniqlo jogger pants // Pull and Bear white fashion sneakers shoes //

I was so happy that I got an invitation to watch Pitch Perfect 2 movie premiere at Epicentrum from Clozette Indonesia. I could not stop laughing while watching the movie, I must say that this is one of my favourite movie this year. If you love comedy twisted with sisterhood, romance, and awesomeness, find out what Barden Bellas did to compete the badass Das Sound Machine on Pitch Perfect 2 movie at the nearest cinema ;)

Pitch Perfect 2 is the sequel movie of Pitch Perfect where an acapella group consists of lovely girls with their own uniqueness named Barden Bellas try to be the winner of an acapella world champion. It was not easy of course especially when they know that their toughest rival is Das Sound Machine (DSM) from Germany definitely is an acapella badass. Even I fall in love with Das Sound Machine performance especially when they sing the mashup song of Uprising and Tsunami. Oh boy, they sounds so futuristic and their performance was super awesome.

Thank you so much Clozette Indonesia for the invitation. I had so much fun at the Pitch Perfect 2 movie premiere. I still could not move on from the atmosphere at the cinema listening to the Acapella World Champion performances. It felt like I was watching the competition live. Until now I'm still listening to the ost. of the movie on youtube.

PS: choose the chairs on the almost-front-rows at the cinema so you can feels like you are watching the performances of acapella world champion live because you are going to chin up to see what is going on the screen, just like when you are watching a concert and you are on the front rows so you have to chin up to see your idols on the stage. Trust me it is worth it :)
