TO DO THIS WEEKEND: WEAR PASTELS HEAD TO TOE

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Gloomy days at December month inspired me to wear pastels head to toe. Wearing matchy macthy pastel colors from the same palette head to toe definitely will give you different look compared when you wear different pastel colors. Matchy matchy pastel color gives clean, calm, and mature impression through your outfit, it is the perfect way to wear pastel without looking like a sweet little cotton candy (in case you don't want to). So, if you wear hijab, please don't wear all the same identical pink or mint or purple or any pastel color head to toe, just please don't. Wear different shade of pastel colors from the same palette and the gorgeous look is yours.

Happy trying y'all! Happy wearing pastels head to toe this weekend :*

All pictures taken by my friend, Wini (Thank You :*) and edited by me.

DENIM OVERALLS FOR HIJABI

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Hi,

last week I went to flora and fauna exhibition at Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta. I ended up by bought some flower seeds for Mum. They are aster, carnation, and sunflower seeds. Mum will love those flower seeds. Can't wait to see them blooming when I am coming home next year. Uhm,, I bought some for me as well, but I'm still thinking where to sow and grow them at my boarding house. There is not so many space left to take care plants. Maybe I will sow the seeds one by one and I am going to start with sunflower. Surely will share my gardening process on my instagram and this blog. Stay tuned, Lovelies :)

Finally I wore my denim overalls to go outside. I'm not really confident to wore my denim overalls since I am afraid about what people think about my outfit. And yes I heard some of them commenting on my outfit that day but currently I don't really care about people comment about my outfit as long as I love my clothes and feel comfortable wearing them. I don't mind clowning myself as long as I love what I wore that day. The way I'm thinking make my life easier because it is safe more time to think about anything else beside "Does my body looks big in this clothes and another blah blah blah thought". I paired my denim overalls with white polkadots shirt and white sandals also my Say Hijab scarf.

All you need to do is just simply click "TO DO THIS WEEKEND" tag at the left side of my blog under "CATEGORIES" section.

Indomie is famous and delicious instant noodle made in Indonesia, for me Indomie is such a guilty pleasure. Eating to much Indomie contribute to significant increasing of my weight but resisting the temptation of Indomie is so hard to do, almost impossible. Actually there are so many instant noodle brand besides Indomie, but I don't know why Indomie name had become a trademark for instant noodle in Indonesia.

Since I stay in Jakarta I super rare consuming instant noodle, until my friend, Ieren, told me about a unique recipe called "Indomie Susu" (Milky Indomie). Usually people cooked Indomie by put the noodle into boiling water and done. At the first I doubted the deliciousness of instant noodle mixed with boiled milk, I thought the taste will be kind of nauseated or too much. It was hard for me to imagine spicy things like Indomie mixed with milk until I know how delicious it is, my new guilty pleasure in this world which is could be yours as well :p

Ingredients:
  • 189 ml milk ( I'm using Bear Brand milk)
  • 189 ml water (to cook)
  • 2 glass water (to boil the noodle)
  • 1 Instant noodle (I'm using Indomie with "ayam bawang" flavour)
  • 1 Instant seasoning (Included inside instant noodle packaging)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 70 g carrot (Additional, depends on you)
  • 3 onions, chopped (Additional, depends on you)
  • 50 g cheese, dice slices(Additional, depends on you)
Equipment:
  • Boiling/cooking pot
  • Wooden spoon or spatula could be okay
  • Strainer
Step by step:
  1. Put noodle into boiling water (around 1 - 1.5 minute) and drain it with strainer.
  2. Heat butter, fry onions half minute, add water
  3. Put carrot into boiling water, half cooked
  4. make a room in the cooking pot to boil the egg, half cooked
  5. Add milk + instant seasoning, stir it. Wait until boiling.
  6. Put noodle into boiling milk. Cover the cooking pot for 1 minute. Turn off the stove.
  7. Put cheese on the top of your milky indomie and it is ready to served.

So easy yet delicious and creamy. Perfect for rainy seasons or when you need a warm feeling also when you want to treat yourself sometimes by eating this super yummy milky indomie. Please tell me if you try this recipe ;)

HAPPY TRYING
HAPPY WEEKEND
:)

SWING FROM THE CHANDELIER

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Party girls don't get hurt
Can't feel anything, when will I learn
I push it down, I'm the one for a good time call
Phone's blowin'up, they're ringin' my doorbell
I feel the love, 1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink
Throw them back, 'till I lose count

I'm gonna swing from the chandelier,
I'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn't exist
I'm gonna fly like a bird through the night
feel my tears as they dry
But I'm holding on for dear life,
won't look down won't open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light,
'cos I'm just holding on for tonight

Sun is up, I'm a mess
Gotta get out now, gotta run from this
Here somes the shame.

Sia - Chandelier

NEVER ever getting bored of listening, watching, and imagining Chandelier song and music video of Sia. The 12 years old Maddie Ziegler, the girl at the video brings out the mood of the song perfectly. Love the creepy look at the video, the choreography and the expression shows by Maddie is perfection and I am addicted to it.

I don't know exactly the meaning of the song itself, for me the song is about neglected feeling and trying to run from it. I myself don't do party or drink to overcome heavy problems. Or maybe let's say I'm having a party, but "party" in another meaning, where there is only myself, eating my favorite ice cream, chocolates, listening to my favourite songs, dancing alone, crying, drawing, taking pictures with my camera, calling my mom and praying to Allah. Thank God I'm not the kind of person who destruct something or hurt my self when I feel bad, melancholic, or burdened by some problems. I prefer to celebrate it by feel it, I let myself taste the bitter feeling, being melancholic for a while, give some time to myself, then I feel it is easier to face it and let it go. Anger and blaming yourself don't solve the problems, but acceptance do.

I wonder, what do you do when you feel sad or burdened by heavy problems?
